LEGAL ENGLISH & U.S. BUSINESS LAW FOR INTERNATIONAL LAWYERS
  PARTICIPANTS
Participants include lawyers, in house counsel, law students and business professionals from outside the United States who are interested in U.S. business law or want to communicate more effectively in English in matters involving law and business.
  *The Institute is authorized by the U.S. government to issue Form I-20 (certificate of eligibility for an F-1 Student Visa).
 
  LL.M. PREPARATION
Lawyers pursuing an LL.M. degree at a U.S. law school will strongly benefit from the small classes and personalized attention during the Institute's summer programs in legal English and the U.S. legal system.
 
  PROGRAMS
The Institute offers summer study programs in legal English and U.S. business law on university campuses in the United States, and additional programs throughout the year.
 
  TEACHING METHOD
Classes and workshops are small (usually 10-15 participants), highly interactive and include problem-solving and useful exercises.
 
  TOPICS
The legal English and business law programs address topics such as U.S. corporate planning, international commercial transactions, intellectual property, negotiation, legal writing and contract drafting in English.
 
  FACULTY
Instructors are leading U.S. law professors and lawyers with real-world expertise and extensive experience training foreign lawyers in U.S. law and legal English.
