IMMERSION IN ENGLISH & U.S. BUSINESS LAW
COURSE MATERIALS
Law and Legal English class materials are provided by the instructors. The materials vary depending on the needs and interests of participants. Materials may include books focusing on English language skills (grammar, business writing, vocabulary, etc.), articles from newspapers and magazines, legal and business documents, and videos.
The main textbook for this program is Business Law: Text and Exercises by Roger LeRoy Miller and William Eric Hollowell
(West Publishing, 5th edition, 2007). The textbook provides an overview of U.S. business law topics. Each chapter includes
practical problems and exercises that highlight important legal terminology and illustrate the basic concepts. Throughout
the book, common issues in U.S. legal practice are emphasized.
